A woman in court because of her “killing her mother” to pay insurance payments

It is expected that a Mabumallanga woman in the Solid Court of Accorhwick will appear on Friday by allegedly organizing her mother’s death in exchange for insurance.

The 40 -year -old woman was arrested yesterday with the killing of Amy Moni, who was killed last month.

It is the third person who is arrested regarding the case. Like two suspects, Abello Khuza, 25, and Levo Magoban, 26, at the same court on Thursday, and were deprived of bail.

Their case was postponed to next week.

“The Crime Intelligence Unit played a pivotal role in breaking this issue,” said Brigadier General of the Mabumallanga Donald Mololi Police.

The 25 -year -old priest

MDHLULI said that Khuza, who claimed to be a shepherd, was arrested in Nelspot on charges of his alleged involvement in the case of the collapse of homes and theft in Mattafin outside Nilspot in December 2024.

“Subsequent investigations revealed ties with other crimes, including the Moni case. During the arrest, it was found in the possession of stolen materials that operate as a decisive guide.

“At more investigations, it was also revealed that he was also part of the people who were said to be Moni’s death,” MDHLULI added.

The case is cracked

Major Mbumallanga Police Commissioner General Geev Makhwazi praised the police to break the case.

“The spread of alleged murders associated with insurance claims is a worrying trend. We urge the public to report such cases immediately, and the fruit, that the police will seriously achieve these matters to ensure a decrease in justice.”

Payments murders

There were several high -level cases of murders for insurance payments. Rosemary Ndlovu currently spends six lifelong rulings to kill her partner and other family members after obtaining life insurance policies in their names.

Likewise, a Limpopo police officer Racita Rachel Chukan Cotomilla currently faces 19 charges, including murder, fraud and the defeat of the ends of justice.

He claimed that she brought out many funerary and physical insurance policies and life insurance on vulnerable individuals, including some of those who have been disrupted or challenged mentally, making herself benefiting.

“It is currently linked to six murders related to insurance, and the evidence shows that it has reached at least 10 million Rand,” said police spokeswoman, Brigadier General Atanda Math.

Fraud of insurance in height?

The community police forum in Douglasdale (CPF) recently warned of an increase in cases of insurance fraud in the region.

According to the newspaper Randburg Sun, Ferida Powls, the CPF public relations official, said the authorities have monitored a trend of people lying about stolen laptops, mobile phones and other valuables for insurance payments.
