Louisiana Insurance Commissioner Tim Temple blames the lawyers of the personal injuries to the insurance crisis
Baton Rouge, La (News 15) – Louisiana’s high car insurance rates have become a pivotal point for state officials, with new proposals aimed at addressing this issue. State Governor Jeff Landri has set a plan for the Legislative Commission in Louisiana, but now, Insurance Commissioner Tim Temple presented a set of proposed bills.
Temple announced his proposals, on the pretext that it would reduce more effective rates than the ruler’s plan. He attributed many of the insurance crisis to the lawyers of personal injuries and suggested tougher boundaries to the plaintiff’s ability to prosecute the damage and amounts that are recovered in court.
Commissioner Timbel explained: “Some bills in the ruler’s package encourage more red tape and excessive organization.” “The only people who benefit from these are lawyers, and certainly not people. These changes will not bring one insurance company to the state or reduce the installments of anyone.”

Patton Rouge, Los Angeles (News 15) – State Governor Jeff Landre proposed a plan to repair car insurance in Louisiana, with the aim of reducing high insurance rates in the state. The plan is targeting both insurance companies and personal injuries, who are believed to contribute to the problem. Louisiana is classified among the states with the highest car insurance rates. A survey conducted by the Landri Administration found that the residents blame insurance companies and personal injuries at high costs. “If the insurance companies want to use more famous celebrities on the appearance in commercials and enjoy the front on coffee and ride motorcycles, our citizens will not have to pay for their price in their insurance premiums.” “I am tired of seeing Maurice Bart as I see the lizard.”
Louisiana’s legislature will start dealing with these issues, including high -car insurance rates, when the legislative session opens in spring on Monday April 14, in Capitol Louisiana.
